Canthus: - Etymology | History or Origin

This word is derived from Greek word  kanthos which means; "Corner or edge of eye".

Definition:

This is a fissure present between two upper and lower eyelids of an eye.

Types: 

There are two types.

1) Medial or nasal canthus

2) Lateral or temporal canthus
